The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is Mapúa University’s lead office in charge of the deployment, management, and evaluation of various digital and pedagogical solutions to the challenges and demands of hybrid and flexible learning. CTL is headed by two directors – one for Digital and another for Outcome-Based Education. CTL – Digital is responsible for the introduction, assessment, and evaluation of various educational and instructional technology tools and equipment, which faculty members and students alike use for the successful teaching and learning in various delivery modes. CTL – Outcome-Based Education is tasked to assess, roll out, and evaluation various teaching and learning strategies, methods, approaches and assists in policy-making on outcome-based and learner-centered education. Together, the two components of CTL work hand-in-hand to execute a seamless technology-driven and learner-centered framework that is consistent with the university’s commitment towards ‘success for all’ among its students.
