Several plants in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand are a regular go-to of Mapúans for their international plant visits. These visits aim to match the theoretical knowledge learned inside the classroom with the actual production systems and business processing of plants. Aside from these, the Institute aims to let the students appreciate their chosen fields and show them global best practices. Mapúa has since sent 1,428 students for international plant visits.
