As a leading interior design school, Mapúa is transitioning to a quarterm academic calendar beginning in 2026. This system divides the year into four 11-week terms, allowing for focused, high-impact learning. Students usually carry a load of 15–18 units per term, which supports timely degree completion.
After qualifying for the interior design program via the MPASS, you may proceed with online enrollment through the Applicant Portal. While students can begin enrollment without all documentary requirements, these must be submitted before classes start.
To secure a slot, a minimum payment of at least 25% of the total fees is required under the university’s updated installment payment scheme.
Earning an interior design degree from Mapúa allows you to shape living and working spaces by transforming creative visions into reality.
Graduates can pursue diverse roles such as interior designers, CAD designers, and space planners. Additionally, opportunities exist as furniture designers or design and sales consultants.
Applicants must take the Mapúa Program Placement Assessment (MPASS), a standardized tool measuring cognitive and academic development. This assessment identifies whether you are suited for the interior design program based on your results. You can take the MPASS online via Cardinal Edge or on-site at the Intramuros or Makati campuses.
