Human Resource Department

The Human Resources Department (HRD) serves as Mapúa’s strategic partner and catalyst for organizational success. Its primary goal is to revolutionize the employee experience, enhance employees’ skills, abilities, and knowledge, and foster a culture that attracts and retains top talent. The HRD is responsible for establishing employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, managing employee relations and conflict resolution, and providing training and development opportunities to improve people’s skills and performance. By fostering a culture rooted in Mapúa University’s values of discipline, excellence, commitment, integrity, and relevance, along with YGC values of passion for excellence, professional discipline, loyalty, urgency, and teamwork, the HRD envisions an inclusive work environment where faculty and staff thrive.

Just as Mapúa University is guided by its core values, we also uphold the YGC Core Values: Passion for Excellence, Professional Discipline, Loyalty, Sense of Urgency, and Teamwork. Together, these principles drive success and create a strong foundation for everything we do.

Guided by these commandments of service, Mapúa is committed to delivering an outstanding customer service experience with gratitude and pride as a YGC member.
