Mission

The Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies - Transportation Science Society of the Philippines - Mapua Student Chapter is committed to produce intellectually competent officers and members from different programs through the guidance of professionals, inculcation of the core values of the MIT. The organization shall uphold the promotion of excellence in transportation research and practices towards the development of international transportation concerns.

Description

The East Asia Society for Transportation Studies – Transportation Science Society of the Philippines – Mapua Student Chapter (EASTS – TSSP – MSC) is an organization that concerns with transportation research and how to solve them through research tours, student conferences and the likes. The organization also addresses transportation as an integral part of engineering discipline.

The EASTS – TSSP – MSC conducts research tours annually to gather information regarding transportation issues governed within the country and find possible solutions to said issues. The organization is also responsible for providing research materials for students engaging in transportation studies and research. Moreover, the organization hosts student conferences which promote amity among different students from other institutions. It is also engaged in developing and building future leaders.
